CUSTOM & INDUSTRY CATALYSTS

Applied Catalysts offers several ACMC (Activated Carbon Monolith Catalysts) products for Chemical Process applications.

Custom & Industry Catalysts with Applied

Identifying the best catalyst for a chemical process is a daunting task. Applied Catalysts has a mission of helping those without a historical database of catalysts and performance data. Whether designing the catalyst to meet the process requirements or selecting from proven and historical catalysts, Applied Catalysts can deliver the catalyst you need. A combination of catalysis experience and investments in internal resources and external relationships have been organized to deliver these results.

Delivering Custom and Industry Catalysts builds on a foundation of catalyst development over the 30-year history of Applied Catalysts, for both monolith-based and particulate catalysts, and PGM and base-metal catalysts. We have developed catalysts for hydrogenation and other reductive processes, and selected proprietary chemistries of customers.

01

Our Process for Custom Catalysts

Applied Catalysts apply internally-developed, externally-developed and, when needed, newly-developed catalysts for customer processes. Lab-scale reactors are available to run customer chemistry or related chemistry. This assistance includes providing catalysts, process development, and scale-up to commercial production. The goal is to provide the best catalyst and process solutions to our customers. We leverage outside resources as needed, to complement the customer team.

02

How Custom & Industry Catalysts Can Help You

Having access to a broad range of catalysts enables more rapid project success. It can be quickly determined if catalyst development is needed and action taken. This shortens the path to commercialization, increasing the NPV realized from implementing the new project technology.

It is not common to have an organization that spans the catalyst development process from lab scale to pilot scale to commercial production. Building such a capability delays time to market and may not be cost-effective compared to working with a chemical catalyst company like ours, where the resources have been developed over years of similar projects.
